| Spreading Sida can be found in grassy areas or bare caliche of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It is a small, spreading perennial that can reach eighteen inches in length. The leaves are narrow, have a toothed margin and are 1/4 to 3/4 inch long. The yellow-orange flowers are approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch in diameter and bloom from March to October. The leaves are occasionally eaten by white-tailed deer and cattle. | |
